DESIGNING THE FUTURE

Training for members of the Cooperative in order to allow the consolidation of a corporate culture on the innovation processes.

The training is an integrated intervention aimed at strengthening the organization and the production system of the Cooperative. The project includes training activities for the social base of the cooperative and the parallel and subsequent advisory service for co-designing, together with training participants, a new business strategy and a new business model that prototypes and experiences new services. The training is focused on an analysis of the scenario of the sectors; the study of best practices in the areas of reference, training practices of social innovation, the adoption of technological tools for internal communication, external design thinking and the innovation of the processes and services, communication services and community engagement.

METHOD OF FINANCING

Funded by the ASSFORSEO Intermediate Body for the management of Global Aid aimed at the development and consolidation of cooperative businesses in Lazio out of the P.O.R. Lazio ESF ob. 2 Regional competitiveness and employment - 2007-2013, Axis I Adaptability, objectives (a) and (c) and Axis II Employability, objective (e).

 

OBJECTIVES

The reference scenarios for third sector organizations, particularly those working in the areas of welfare and social assistance, have changed greatly and are characterizing the transition from a social democratic framework to a liberal one, in which the intervention of the public sector shrinks.

The aim of the course will be to develop a new financing strategy that will also cover the use of the activity of the market that can take advantage of the new opportunities offered by the latest technology and, more generally, enhance the ability to adapt to the baseline, and is the indispensable foundation to introduce innovations in models and in the organizational and production processes of the cooperative. It will also be possible to assess the possibility of creating the paths of micro-enterprise for social and economic inclusion of the recipients of the activities and the projects of assistance of the cooperative.

The main benefits for the cooperative are: the adoption of a business model that should ensure greater sustainability and generate economic resources for the development of activities and projects, information and expertise to expand markets and intercept funding opportunities, the wider and more structured use of tools and models of fundraising that define a model of wider funding mix, articulate and effective, raising the skill levels of the organization.

 

METHODOLOGY OF INTERVENTION

The training activity is only partially planned through lectures, but favours the interaction between the trainers and the public; therefore co-design workshops are planned in order to increase the level of experience and immersion in the training by the participants.

FIRST PHASE: the first six meetings. Objective: identify the business idea.

Analysis' methodologies and organizational projection. Community building and engagement to activate the collaborative planning mode, design, design thinking.

Methodologies of the Tavistock Institute in London, Bateson's ecology of mind.....

Activation of processes of collective intelligence using cooperation and facilitation methodologies derived from the practices of the Art of Hosting, in use and spread in the Impact Hub network.

SECOND PHASE: the subsequent nine meetings. Consulting organizational development. Objective: the feasibility of the business idea.

Methodology: lectures and job assistance to the realization of a project work that will form the basis of a business plan.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

The training will be held by The Hub Roma, the Roman node of the global network of people and spaces - Impact Hub.
